Carrie Baker
Senior Associate
Carrie Baker has 25 years of experience in executive search, the majority of which have been spent in the life sciences, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors.
Before joining Hodges Partners, Carrie was a vice president in the Life Sciences Practice of Diversified Search Group for five years, culminating in the position of Vice President, Search Operations, and Quality. In this role, she had responsibility for hiring and training the support teams of their search consultants, including research, recruiting, and executive assistants, while overseeing quality of successful search processes. She has strong experience in aligning search strategies and the project management required to successfully execute searches with specific expertise in research, knowledge management, and talent acquisition.
Preceding this, Carrie led research for the Life Sciences Practice of Korn Ferry as a Global Practice Analyst for ten years. Responsible for global research and knowledge management initiatives within the practice, Carrie also managed executive search and market intelligence operations, monitored department goals and objectives, and contributed to marketing content. In 2016, she was recognized by the firm as the Best Research Knowledge Management Team Player in North America.
Carrie began her career in executive search as a practice coordinator at Ray and Berndtson/A.T. Kearney Executive Search in Fort Worth. While there, she served in the key role of coordinating data, knowledge management, strategy, research, and daily operations of the life sciences recruitment team.
